A moving ceremony is expected for the 7.30am morning service on ANZAC Day as many gather at the Merrijig War and Service Memorial to remember those who served.
Horseriders will gather at the Hunt Club Hotel at 6.30am sharp and ride together at a respectful pace to reach the 5 Pines War and Service Memorial at Buttercup Rd for the service. A wreath or memorial rock may be placed at the Memorial during the service.
A gunfire breakfast (by donation) will follow at the shelter.
